Privacy Policy
Last updated May 2025
Hola Means Hola is a one-person app. I don't sell your data, share it with advertisers, or do anything with it beyond making the app work. This policy explains what I collect and why.
What I collect
When you use the app, I store your study progress — which words you've seen, how you've rated them, and where you are in the frequency list. This is stored in your iCloud account via CloudKit, so it stays on Apple's infrastructure and syncs across your devices.
If you contact me by email, I'll have your email address. I don't add it to any list.
I use standard Apple analytics (App Store Connect) to see aggregate install and crash data. This does not identify you individually.
What I don't collect
No account or password. No location. No contacts. No advertising identifiers. No third-party analytics SDKs.
Data storage
Your progress data lives in your iCloud account. I don't have a server that holds a copy of it. If you delete the app, your CloudKit data can be deleted from your iCloud settings.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13. I don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
Changes
If I change this policy in a meaningful way, I'll update the date above. The app is simple enough that I don't expect this to change much.
